President/CEO

Perry Shea

As a founder and entrepreneurial for many companies, Perry’s strength is forming relationships that lead to partnerships and positive business outcomes. He is a successful businessman who has built several companies from start-ups to regional and national recognition. His passion for creating and developing economic opportunities for his clients is his number one goal and outcome for Dragonwheel.

Perry has technical expertise in the engineering and construction fields and uses this knowledge and experience to evaluate project opportunities for risk and financial feasibility. He applies these skills during the due-diligence period to understand project challenges, success factors and whether an investment is worth pursuing – this provides an extra level of fiduciary review for each investment and project considered by the Dragonwheel team.

He is the former chair of the Thurston Economic Development Council, serves on several non-profit organizations and is a Trustee of Saint Martin’s University.

Director - Australia

Leda Li

With over 10 plus years’ experience in the Financial and International Business development industry, Leda provides a communication link that allows the Dragonwheel team to work seamlessly with our clients in developing relationships and partnerships.

Leda brings a strong background in business and a thorough understanding of international business strategies and regulations to ensure the successful completion of our project is on time and within budget.

Leda is currently working full time in Dragonwheel South Australia office to oversee operations, project execution and financial oversight.

Vice President / COO

Jen Toughill

Jen Toughill is a respected leader in real estate development, known for her industry knowledge, business acumen, and community spirit! With over 22 years of extensive experience, Jen has mastered the industry through innovative and large-scale projects across the Northeast and East Coast of the United States. As a seasoned investor and entrepreneur, she has built a remarkable investment portfolio and founded a successful woman-owned construction company. Her exceptional expertise spans all phases of construction, from predicting market trends to navigating lending changes and managing pivotal finances as the Chief Operating Officer of Dragonwheel Group.

A creative visionary, Jen leverages her spatial aptitude to evaluate and execute significant projects with precision. She is committed to implementing green initiatives and sustainable practices in her work. Jen’s strengths include a sharp eye for detail, effective business systems, strong relationship building, and prioritizing problem-solving.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jen is dedicated to serving the local community through volunteer work and support of local schools. Her commitment to sustainability and community reflects her passion for making a positive impact. Jen’s overall accomplishments further showcase her ability to thrive in diverse environments, enhancing her strategic approach to real estate and development. Known for her keen eye for opportunity, Jen continues to lead impactful projects that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the industry.

Vice President

Jim Schweickert

Jim has always had a passion for real estate and has spent his entire career fueling this passion. Prior to his current position as President of JPS Engineering, Jim acquired his Professional Civil Engineer license and spent 36 years building one of the region’s top civil engineering firms known as Larson and Associates Inc. in Tacoma Washington and retired as their Principal & Vice President before starting his own free-lance firm.

Through his 40+ years in real estate, on many occasions Jim has held the role of managing partner where he successfully deployed ground up residential and commercial developments. He has personally invested in many of the projects that he has worked on, representing a wide range of asset classes that include medium to large scale, multifamily, medical, office, retail, and self-storage. He utilizes his extensive experience to assess real estate investments for the Dragonwheel team. Jim graduated from the University of Notre Dame with his Bachelors of Science in Engineering.

Controller

Karma Boardman

Karma Boardman is a senior accountant with decades of experience in both the public and private industries, with her focus on financial statement preparation, accounting systems and tax matters. As the company Controller, Karma is involved with the company financial data, contracts, financial reporting, budgeting and cost control principles. She is very knowledgeable and adept with both federal and state financial regulations and is responsible for compliance and reporting. Karma’s accounting and consulting background has spanned over a wide range of industries from professional clients, contracting, restaurants, medical practices, wholesalers, retail and manufacturing. Karma has an effective ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and remain organized with a strong attention to details.

Project Manager

Josh Taylor

Josh began his construction career in 2007 and graduated from the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program in 2011. Since then, he has led over fifty building & infrastructure projects ranging from $250,000 to $10,000,000 as the Lead Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, and site Superintendent. Josh supervises all aspects of our projects which includes building layout and design, project scheduling, subcontractor coordination & management, and self-performing work when needed. In his experience as Superintendent, Josh ensures that a safe and productive work environment is maintained at all times. He holds certificates in Construction Quality Management and OSHA.

Chief of Staff

Lisa Hicks

Lisa Hicks is a business leader with strong communication and organizational skills that allows her to be an effective executive supporting corporate leadership through her ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Lisa has over 30-years of experience working from small startup companies to large professional companies providing management in Finance, HR, Corporate Compliance, and serving in executive level positions and board of director representation. As the company Chief of Staff, Lisa is involved in the full spectrum of business operations, collaborating with leadership to ensure alignment and accountability around company goals and priorities.

An essential role in her capacity of Chief of Staff is fostering the company culture with all staff and aligning team members to build strong relationships and collaboration teams. Lisa has strong executing skills and an intuitive nature with the ability to think strategically and implement tactically. She demonstrates high emotional intelligence and handles demands with grace and composure.
